Timberland Construct: 10061
Timberland wanted to recruit a younger generation of consumers who didn’t really care for the yellow boots.
Bored of an industry that just sticks a logo on a shoe and calls it a collab, we created a project that was more iterative, transparent and greener. We sent footwear designers and creators to the Timberland factories to play and make. And play and make they did.
I named the project (with a nod to the product code of their icon), wrote the manifesto, and did a few other bits, but I didn’t get to go to the Dominican Republic :( . You can see more of the project here.
