Brawl Stars: Revenge Of The Three

Supercell simply wanted us to communicate that Brawl Stars is best played in threes. When playing, we found that getting revenge was easiest when you had two comrades alongside you. So we tapped into a place in Japanese culture where revenge was always on the menu: V-Cinema, a 90s film genre, made famous by our director Miike Takashi, and his muse Show Aikawa. Here’s the trailer:

Confused? Well I don’t think watching the full film will help with that. It’s a 16 minute loveletter to the genre and the aforementioned duo, packed with movie references, Brawl Stars easter eggs, and in-jokes around our hero, from his love of rhinoceros beetles to his 80s dance troupe.

Did you make it to the Bollywood ending? No? Nevermind. Here’s some more snackable content for you instead. Each cast member had their own Brawl Stars gaming advice video, so if you ever wondered how long it takes for a new gem to pop up, check ‘em out below, and don’t forget to turn on English subs. That zombies one is one of the stupidest things I’ve ever done.

We also cast a few YouTubers, and invited some more on set so they could make their own content. Cheers lads.
