A Brief History Of My Time

Grew up near Nottingham,
Played football until it got dark,
Drank cheap beer down the park.
They were some very good years.

Got existential at Newcastle University, where I studied History, Philosophy and Media, receiving a first class degree.

Moved to Tokyo to work for ASICS. Worked in retail selling shoes (which was interesting because I don’t speak Japanese), before researching the sneaker market (which was interesting... honestly).

Returned and spent 2 months on placement at JWT London, where I made a pretty sweet end card for Wilkinson Sword.

In January 2019, I moved back to Tokyo using traditional Japanese transport, to work for Wieden+Kennedy.

Oh and I’m still here. Or there.

So to sum up:

Wieden+Kennedy Tokyo: Copywriter, January 2019 - Today (at least!)

KesselsKramer London: Creative Placement, July - December 2018

JWT London: Creative Placement, April - June 2018

ASICS Tokyo:
Intern, November 2016 - February 2017

etc.
