To celebrate the launch of IKEA’s newest city-centre shop right by the infamous crossing, we gave everyday Shibuya moments an IKEA twist with the help of their much-loved soft toy range.

The go-karters often seen at the crossing have been replaced by plush animals on RASKOG trollies in The Scramble Racers, illustrated by Kei Mogari. The Yamanote Metro is packed full of the internet-famous BLÅHAJ Sharks in Last Train Home, illustrated by Unpis. A cuddly dinosaur finds a partner in Romance At The Arcade, illustrated by Emi Ozaki.
